He has won several awards for his work in journalism including 2 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. Josh has also been named Best TV News Anchor in the state of Tennessee 6 times by the Associated Press and Tennessee Association of Broadcasters.

Josh served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1991-1999. He loves to tell stories of military veterans from all eras but specializes in the history & stories of Vietnam War veterans.

Josh, his wife, and many dogs live near Chattanooga, Tennessee.
